Day 1: Day One on the El Camino. We arrived at the physical entrance to the El Camino walk: “the gateway.” Our day was exciting and filled with adventure.

Day 2: This was a time of reflection. It was a physically taxing day that was only successful because of our raw determination. In the end, the journey gave us a positive experience.

Day 4: Trust in yourself was our theme today. Along our walk today, we experienced several situations that made us doubt our judgement. Don’t do this! Always trust in yourself, in your sixth sense.

Day 5: Today, we spoke of determination and the will to succeed. All of us are unique beings. We must simply decide to overcome adversity and act like pilgrims in the journey of life.

Day 6: Please take time to observe and study the beautiful world around you. This will give you much greater insight into the complexity of life.

Day 7: Today, we talked about success and what this means to me. I must define my own view of happiness and success. The secret is, with work, I can; I am free to be me.

Day 8: Today, we spoke about family and how necessary the family unit is in society. We saw this fully displayed in a small town on the El Camino.

Day 9: Change is inevitable in everyone’s life. Embrace the alterations in the fabric of society. The path forward simply requires foresight and a bit of courage. All will be fine in the end.

Day 10: We must remember to appreciate the little things in life. This includes water, nourishment, and peace. Please practice gratitude on a daily basis. Remember: I am so lucky to be me.
